Steel angle bar and T-profile

Steel angle iron (or angle profile) is a hot or cold rolled L-shaped steel profile, which is very popular in construction due to its relatively low price and wide range of applications.

Steel angles tend to be of two types: equal-sided and unequal-sided. The unequal-sided metal angle is a metal L-profile with shelves of different lengths. An equal-sided metal angle has both sides of the same width.

The most popular steel grades for angles are S235 or S355. Steel grade S355 is more durable and wear-resistant and, accordingly, slightly more expensive compared to S235.

Usually available in 6 or 12 meter lengths, with different edge widths and thicknesses.

SIA Rikta V offers angles of various sizes from 15×15 mm to 300×300 mm and from 30×20 mm to 250 mm, shelf thickness from 2 mm to 28 mm.

T-profile is a steel beam whose cross-section forms the letter T, made from special steel rolled products. The T-beam type is less strong, so it is used in lighter structures where simplified assembly is required. Available sizes: from 20 mm to 140 mm.

Steel products are manufactured according to standards: EN 10025, EN 10056, EN 10162, EN 10055.
