H and I beams (Double T beams)

Double T beams are hot-rolled metal structural elements with an H or I-shaped cross-section (two parallel flanges connected by a web). Due to their high strength and rigidity, they are widely used in load-bearing structures, building frames, floor systems, bridge construction and mechanical engineering.

SIA Rikta V offers IPE, IPN (INP), HEA, HEB, HEM.

IPE is a hot-rolled I-shaped steel profile. Compared to the HEA beam, the IPE has a greater height and smaller parallel flanges in cross-section. The IPE beam has thinner walls and lower weight. Used for canopies and supports, or for non-massive structures in low-load projects. Available sizes: from 80 mm to 750 mm.

IPN (INP) is a hot-rolled I-shaped steel profile with tapered flanges, traditionally used for construction and engineering purposes. Available sizes: from 80 mm to 600 mm.

HEA is a hot-rolled steel profile whose cross-section forms the letter H. The HEA profile consists of two main load-bearing flanges connected by a horizontal plate. HEA beams are used as columns or horizontal steel frame elements in industrial and commercial buildings. Available sizes: from 100 mm to 1000 mm.

HEB beam is the most massive of the standard beams, designed for higher loads. It differs from HEA with a thicker central plate and flanges, providing greater rigidity under both longitudinal and axial loads. Available sizes: from 100 mm to 1000 mm.

HEM beams have the longest and thickest wide flanges that can withstand the highest loads. They are used to increase the rigidity, stability and durability of structures under any conditions. Available sizes: from 100 mm to 1000 mm.

Double T beams are manufactured according to standards: EN 10025, EN 10365.
